Stewed cabbage

Cut onions and start frying them on fry pan. Grate carrots and add them to the fry pan. Cut meat and add them to the fry pan. Fry everything for 25-30 minutes and then put everything to the pot. Boil water in the cattle. Cut cabbage and add them to the pot. Cut tomatoes and add them to the pot. Add salt and spices. Pour boiling water into the pot and stew everything for 15 more minutes.


Ingredients:
2-3 onions
2 carrots
500 g of meat
500 g of cabbage

Fried potatoes with onions and carrots

Peel and cut onions. Start frying them on fry pan. Peel and mince carrot, add it to fry pan. Fry for 5-10 minutes, then peel and cut potatoes and add them to fry pan. Salt everything and fry for 25 minutes.


Ingredients:
2 onions
1 carrot
7-10 potatoes

Borsch (Red-beet soup)

Soak beans for 5-6 hours. Pour water into the saucepan, cut meat and put it into the water. Add beans and salt the water. Boil meat and beans for 40 minutes, while boiling take off the scale. Peel and mince beet. Fry it on fry pan for 20 minutes, then add tomato paste and stew the beet in tomato paste for 10 more minutes. Peel and cut potatoes, add them to the saucepan. Cut and add cabbage to the saucepan. Put beets in tomato paste to the saucepan. Boil everything for 15-20 minutes. Cut and fry onions. Mince and add carrots to the fry pan. Add a tea-spoon of sugar, table-spoon of vinegar and spices. Add fried onions and carrots and take the saucepan off the oven. Let it stay for 20 minutes. Serve with sour cream, garlic and red pepper.


Ingredients:
200 g of beans
500 g of meat
250 g of beet
300-400 ml of tomato paste
2 potatoes
200 g of cabbage
2 onions
2 carrots
50 g of sour cream
3 cloves of garlic
red pepper

Russian salad

Boil potatoes and carrots in saucepan for 25-30 minutes. Boil eggs for 10 minutes and put them under cold water to shell them easily. Cut the eggs to a big bowl. Cut boiled sausage to the bowl. Cut pickled cucumbers to the bowl. Open a can of green peas and empty the can to the bowl. After potatoes and carrots cool down peel them and cut them to the bowl. Add salt and mayonnaise and mix everything thoroughly.


Ingredients:
500-600 g of potatoes (about 8)
300-400 g of carrots (about 4)
8 eggs
300 g of boiled sausage
200 g of pickled cucumbers (about 4-5)
350 g of green peas
250 g of mayonnaise

Soup with mushrooms

Boil water. Peel and cut potatoes and carrots. Put potatoes an carrots to the boiling water and boil for 5 minutes. Add salt. Cut mushrooms to small pieces, put them into the saucepan and boil for 15 minutes. Put the fried onions to the boiling water and turn off the heat. Wait for 5-10 minutes before eating.

100-200 g of mushrooms
2 potatoes
2 carrots
1-2 onions

Stewed liver with potatoes

Pour some oil into the pot. Cut liver, onions and carrots and fry them in the pot for 5 minutes. Peel and cut potatoes and add them to the pot. Pour in some water. Add salt and spices. Stew everything for 20-25 minutes.

500 g of liver
1-2 onions
1-2 carrots
1 k of potatoes

Goloubtsy (stuffed cabbage rolls)

Separate cabbage to leaves: cut each leaf near the head of the cabbage, then cut the leaf from the head of the cabbage to the top of the leaf and carefully remove both halves from the cabbage. Boil cabbage leaves for 5-10 minutes.
Boil rice for 5 minutes (it should stay half-boiled). Cut and fry onions ands carrots. Add to rice. Add minced meat. Add salt and spices. Mix everything thoroughly.
Put the stuffing onto the cabbage leaves and roll them up the way you like. Put the cabbage rolls into pressure cooker, put tomato paste or tomato gravy on the top, add water. Cook for an hour.


Ingredients:
1-2 cabbages
500 g of rice
1 k of minced meat
2 onions
3 carrots
250 g of tomato paste or gravy

Chicken broth

Cut the chicken and put the pieces into pressure cooker. Cut and add carrots. Add the whole onion. Add water, salt and spices. Boil for half an hour. Serve with parsley and dill.

Half a chicken
1 carrot

Parsley
Dill

Vinaigrette

Boil beet for an hour, boil potatoes and carrots for half an hour. Pour out water and let the vegetables cool down. Peel of the skin and cut the vegetables to pieces. Cut and add onions. Cut and add pickled cucumbers. Cut and add sauerkraut. Add salt. Add oil and mix everything thoroughly.


Ingredients:
2 beets
4 potatoes
2 carrots
1 onion
5 pickled cucumbers
250 g of sauerkraut
100 g of oil

Pilau with cabbage

Cut meat and start frying it in the pot. Add salt. In ten minutes cut onions and add them to the meat for frying. Mince carrots and put them into the pot as well. Fry everything for ten more minutes, cut cabbage and add to the pot. In five minutes wash rice, add rice to the pot and add boiling water. Add salt and spices. Stew everything for 10 minutes, then turn off the stove and leave the pot for 10 minutes to stay covered.

500 g of meat
2 onions
2-3 carrots
500 g of cabbage
300 g of rice

Vareniks with sauerkraut

Pour out flour on the table. Form it like a volcano with a hole in the middle. Break an egg into this hole and add water and salt. Beat the dough until it become of plasticine consistence, then cover it and wait for 30-40 minutes.
Cut onions and grate carrots. Fry them. When ready add sauerkraut and stew the stuffing for 20-30 minutes.
Cut the dough to pieces and roll each piece so it gets thin. Then press it with a glass to have circle forms. Gather the rests and roll again. Put the stuffing inside the circles and press the edges.
Boil for 5-7 minutes. When serving, add fried onions.


Ingredients:
3 glasses of flour
1 egg
2/3 glass of water
2-3 onions
2-3 carrots
500 g of sauerkraut
